Seeds of Hope for Territorial Development
During our visits to municipalities in Antioquia such as Uramita, Olaya and Amagá, as part of the Mentes Abiertas meeting with 10th and 11th grade students, we have witnessed the great potential of young people. Their commitment and discipline in education are essential to turn their dreams into realities.
The Mentes Soñadoras Foundation recognizes and appreciates the efforts of the Municipal Education Secretaries, rectors and teachers of the institutions to overcome the educational barriers that affect these communities. One of the main challenges is the difficulty in accessing and staying in school, due to factors such as demotivation and youth employment, which often leads to school dropout and limits the sustainable development of the territory.
Faced with this problem, the Foundation works on strengthening youth skills through our methodological approach M.I.F.E., which seeks to provide young people with resilience, emotional intelligence and an entrepreneurial spirit. Our goal is to train future leaders, entrepreneurs and citizens committed to the progress of their communities.
